Taylor Lytle, NWSL Utah Royals FC Midfielder, joins the Royals FC Girls DA as a guest coach

The months of November thru March were very exciting for the Utah Royals FC Girls Development Academy! The girls had an opportunity to interact with her at every session and benefited tremendously from her knowledge and experience as a professional soccer player

"Having Taylor here was a great experience for our players.  Being able to ask her questions and interact on a daily basis about her journey, the sport, their training-  is something they have all valued.  She not only brought great insight for the kids but was great for our staff to bounce ideas off of as it related to the training of the Utah Royals first team and things we could implement as we move forward.” Said Tiffany Roberts, Girls Development Academy Director.

"My time with the Utah Royals DA this off-season was amazing and helped me understand the youth level even more. Being around young soccer players ranging from 8-18 years of age was unique. Every age group was different and it was interesting to see how they all were developing their game at different times. The older girls were at a different stage in their soccer career because they were getting ready for college or were trying to be seen by colleges at their games. I can remember being that age and how stressed I was at that time in my life, so I am hoping I was able to help some of those girls with questions they had about the next stage in soccer. The younger teams were new for me. I think I realized very fast that they were like sponges and listened and soaked in everything I said. They were eager to learn new things and excited to play. It was exciting for me to see the growth of each individual player over the months that I was there with them. They all wanted to be better and get better every day and I was honored to be able to be out there and be a part of the Utah Royals DA.” Added Taylor Lytle.

Thank you Taylor- we look forward to hosting you again soon here in Arizona.
