RSL-AZ Development Academy is proud to announce the 2020/21 Coaches Slate:

- Mike Kraus, RSL-AZ Boys Development Academy Director and U14 Boys Coach
- Rafa Sifuentes, U13 Boys Coach
- Andrew May, U15 Boys Coach

Following the expansion of the number Development Academy teams and the inclusion of the Under 15 (U15) age group, we are excited to announce the addition of Andrew May to the team. Andrew brings us a wealth of experience, having coached several MLS Academy Teams, and more recently the LA Galaxy Academy Teams in California.

"I am very proud to have the chance to join Real Salt Lake-Arizona and the Real Salt Lake family. It is exciting to continue to work with a top MLS academy with a proven track record of developing players. I can’t wait to bring my experience, knowledge, and passion for developing young talent to such a prestigious club." Said Andrew May, U15 Boys Coach.

Coach Rafa Sifuentes continues to be on the DA staff coaching the U13’s for next year. We are lucky to benefit from his decades of experience in developing professionals not only playing in the MLS but many that have gone on to have careers playing in Liga MX.  He, along with all of our staff, holds a very high standard for players on and off the pitch to ensure we’re doing our part in their development.

Returning for the 2020/21 season are also Alberto Milan, Assistant Coach, and Joe Waggoner, Goalkeeper Coach.

“We are very proud of the staff we’ve assembled as every head coach has experience coaching within MLS Academies.  Over the last eight years, our coaches have been able to assist over 60 players to reach their dreams of signing a professional contract." Said Mike Kraus, Boys Development Academy Director.

“Having the only direct pathway with an MLS academy provides our players, within all of RSL-Arizona, a huge advantage if they aspire to reach US Youth National Teams and eventually, the professional level.”
