EXCITING NEWS: Bella Leonard, Utah Royals FC-Arizona player, to be a member of the Girls Academy Advisory Panel.

The Girls Academy announced the launch of the first-ever player-led board, the Girls Academy Advisory Panel (GAAP).

The GAAP is a strategic initiative that aligns with the GA’s ‘by the players, for the players’ philosophy. The GAAP provides GA players the opportunity to represent their team, club, and conference to take ownership in their experience and overall development of the GA by collaboratively and collectively using their voice. Interested players go through an application and selection process and will serve a one-year term. (read full article here)

 

"I am so excited and honored to be a part of the Girls Academy Advisory Panel and representing the Southwest conference. As a conference representative, I am taking a step forward as a leader to encourage young female athletes to use our voices in our respective communities. I am so excited to represent Utah Royals FC-AZ and the Southwest." said Bella Leonard, Midfielder for the Utah Royals FC Arizona. 

 

"The opportunity will allow Bella to continue to grow off the field as a leader within our club, Arizona, and this conference. I know she is excited to get started and we are thrilled that she was awarded this opportunity on behalf of the conference." Said Tiffany Roberts, Utah Royals FC-Arizona Director.
