Brayden "G" Guzman, RSL AZ South 2012 Boys Bermudez, is this week's  Chapman Automotive Group RSL AZ Student-Athlete of the Week.

G, a 4th grader, is active in his community by helping foster several dogs and helping them find loving homes. Additionally, G noticed a problem at his school as the playground had goals but no nets. G took the initiative to get student signatures and made a final presentation to the principle who agreed to purchase new nets for the goals. 

"Brayden is the ultimate team player. The best hype man. His passion and Love for the game is shown in the way he plays but more importantly is shown through his sportsmanship and dedication to the game he loves.  He is a great goalie that can be heard championing for his team mates. It doesn’t end there. He is an amazing field player with some of the quickest feet out there," said coach Yeniel Bermidez.

Each week throughout the academic year, RSL AZ will honor a Student-Athlete of the Week who has excelled in the classroom, extracurricular activities, and on the field. In May, all Student-Athlete of the Week winners will be in consideration for the Student-Athlete of the Year award. The Student-Athlete of the Year winner will receive a $500 scholarship that can be used for either soccer or college.
