Eight RSL AZ players participated in a U.S. Soccer Youth National Team Identification Center last week in Casa Grande.

Representing the 2009 age group was Kevin Hernandez, Jesus Cota Monzon, Anthony Capetillo, Jonah Giorgis, and Oliver Lopez (in photo from left to right). Representing the 2008 age group was David Cervantes Romero, Angel Villalba Martinez, and Joshua Galbreath (not pictured).

The YNT Identification Centers are opportunities for U.S. Soccer Talent Identification Managers and Scouts to evaluate and monitor top talents in the hopes of being identified for youth national teams. These invite-only training sessions provide opportunities for scout development, education, and mentoring, and help strengthen connection and collaboration between U.S. Soccer, clubs, and their constituents in local markets.

Back in March 2022, 10 RSL AZ players were invited to participate in a similar session.
