PHOENIX (Wednesday, April 5th , 2023) -- RSL AZ North is proud to announce the hiring of Barkley Pryor from Memphis FC where he was a club director and formerly a head coach with Tennessee ODP and an ODP Regional assistant coach.

• Tryouts for RSL AZ's competitive and elite teams for boys and girls are now open. They start April 24 for 2017-2014 birth years and May 1 for 2013-2005 birth years. Click here to register.
   

"We are thrilled to have Barkley join our coaching staff for RSL AZ North," said RSL AZ North Girls Director Dan Soutar. "Barkley embodies what we are looking for in a coach as he is knowledgeable, educates, cares, respects and is always pushing himself and his players to improve. His experience as a director with his club and a coach with ODP will be an asset to our club. We are excited to have Barkley coach two girls teams and one boys team this upcoming year."

Barkley played at Coastal Carolina University and he holds his USSF C license and has just returned from a coaching education trip to one of the best academies in the world AFC AJAX.

"I’m excited about joining the RSL AZ team as a coach to continue on with my coaching pathway," said Pryor. "Having met other high level coaches working with my club, high school teams, Tennessee State staff and Southern Region staff, it was important for me to continue to grow and challenge myself as a coach. The overall ability for both players and coaches to grow and progress within the RSL AZ system was a major plus for me. The fact that a variety of levels are available within the club is something that is extremely appealing to me as coach."
