The RSL AZ Welcome Party is back for its second year and will be held on May 12-13 at Scottsdale Sports Complex and Bell 94 Sports Complex. 

This two-day event takes place after tryouts and provides all RSL AZ players and teams an opportunity to play with their new teams in friendly matches against other RSL AZ teams. Soccer Olympics will also be back for all ages and will be held throughout the day on May 13. 

New this year is the RSL AZ and Earnhardt Auto Centers Spirit of Tex Award winners and movie night so be sure to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and your favorite snacks!

The movie night and awards ceremony will be held on the evening of May 13 starting at 7:00PM on field #1 at Scottsdale Sports Complex. RSL AZ and Earnhardt Auto Centers will name the Male and Female Spirit of Tex Student-Athletes of 2023. Each player will go home with a $1,000 scholarship from RSL AZ and Earnhardt Auto Centers. The winning players will be selected from this past season's monthly student-athlete award winners. 

There will be additional winners for Spirit of Tex Coach of the Year, Spirit of Tex Referee of the Year, and Spirit of Tex Volunteer of the Year. The winning coach and referee of the year will each earn a $1,000 award and the winning volunteer will earn a $500 award. Nominations for these awards are now open below.

Throughout the two-day party, a vendor area will be on site next for field #1 at Scottsdale Sports Complex and all players will have a chance to try-on uniforms.
