March Winners

Olivia attends Sunrise Mountain High School where she is the Freshman Student Council President. Additionally at her school, she was the public speaking champion and placed third in her district. On the field, Olivia competes in the DPL for RSL AZ North and helped her team win the Presidents Cup silver in 2021 and the Presidents Cup Gold in 2022.

"Olivia is a very good player, a great kid, and a popular member of the team who is a leader on and off the field," said Dan Soutar, RSL AZ North 07 Girls head coach. "She is respectful to her teammates, coaches, opponents, and referees."

David attends Bogle Junior High School where he is very active in his school, playing violin in the school orchestra, competing with the cross country and volleyball teams, and learning Mandarin and Hebrew. On the field, David is a master technician and has recorded more than 500 juggles in a row while playing multiple positions on the field. When he is not playing soccer he is also soccer referee.

"David has set the standard of what an Earnhardt No Bull Student-Athlete should exemplify," said RSL AZ South 10 Boys head coach, Mario Catalanotte. "When I talked to his family and they told me some of his accomplishments I was blown away. He just turned 13, is trilingual, and is just an overall great kid, player, son, and friend. I am super fortunate that he is on my team and I can be around his presence. There is no player in my eyes deserving of such a prestigious award of Student-Athlete than David."

April Winners

Lucy attends Imagine Prep Surprise where she is a straight-A student and recently finished 7th in the state for the cross country DII 6-8th grades. On the field, she is the captain of her team and is always putting in extra training time before, after, and even away from the scheduled training. She leads the backline and leads by example.

"Having coached numerous players, Lucy is truly one of a kind," said RSL AZ West Valley 11 Girls head coach, Jared McDaniel. "She has great focus and her work ethic is greatly superior to most of her peers. Lucy is one of those players that makes coaching worth all the hard work."

Sean attends Kyrene Akimel A-al Middle School where he is on the National Junior Honor Society. In the community, Sean has volunteered at the local YMCA's Employee University program which allows teens opportunities to learn valuable real-life and workplace experiences through workshops, community speakers, and volunteer opportunities. On the field, Sean is a force for his team as a central defender and has saved several goal opportunities in addition to consistently allowing our team to stay in games versus higher-level competition. Sean also displays integrity and humility and holds himself to high standards, which his teammates look to emulate. He is constant, consistent, and present in training and game environments, where he shows high emotional intelligence and empowers others with his strong sense of self as well as constant focus for the team and individual improvement. He has also stepped in on a few other occasions this year to fill in on the defensive back line for another team in the 2009 age group for league games and tournaments, continuing to build rapport with those teammates and their coach.

"Sean is deserving of the Earnhardt No Bull Student-Athlete of the Year award due to his disciplined and consistent approach to self-improvement and growth both on and off the field," said RSL AZ South 09 Boys head coach Brent Summer. "He displays the highest character attributes and that is evident with his stellar leadership, sportsmanship, and citizenship in all activities. His accomplishments to date are a direct result of his personal focus and holding himself to a high standard, both personally and for others to emulate. Sean has built a solid foundation and set himself up for continued future success both on and off the soccer field."
