RSL AZ will be recognizing a RSL AZ North, South, West Valley, Yuma, and Southern AZ  team as the Team of the Month every month from September to May.

Teams will not only be recognized for their performance on the field, but off the field as well.

RSL AZ North - 2006 Girls Hansen
This is a team where many have been together for many years. Going into what is their senior year for half the players 16 out of the 18 players from last year’s team continued to play. This year we have tried two new tournaments/showcases in Blues Cup and WAGS. We had great success in both by playing some great soccer. Along with some great team bonding with beach volleyball in San Diego and going to the DC United game in our capitol. We have multiple players working towards a college soccer career and are actively pursuing this by emailing coaches – having them come watch our games and going to college visits. This group would love for anyone to come watch them play.  

RSL AZ South - 2010 Girls Garcia
The 2010 Garcia Girls soccer team came together from 4 different teams. For most of them, this is there first year working together. They have done an excellent job on and off the field. They have displayed excellent teamwork, support for one another, encouragement, and outstanding sportsmanship. They have been very competitive during this young season and regardless of the outcome, they continue to seek improvement individually and collectively. Several traits stand out from this team but the main one is that of caring for one another and helping each other. They have a very positive attitude and seek improvement at every practice and match. This group has a very positive future with great memories that will last a lifetime!

RSL AZ West Valley - 20111 Boys Chavez
This is going on my third season with this team. Between the bond they have with each other and ability to be coachable its such an enjoyable experience to coach. The hard work and dedication each of these players give at every practice is why the team is exponentially growing.

RSL AZ Yuma - 07 Girls Lugo
These young ladies have been battling in tough competition in tournaments for the past few months and their hard work and dedication on and off the field has been paying off. The coaches are proud of their results.

RSL AZ Southern AZ - 2011 Boys Elite Academy 
This team is off to a great start and has yet to lose a league game in the Elite Academy. They also won the Arsenal Challenge (Gold Division) and Soctoberfest top division.
