Who: Player who has regained possession along with the players in support positions. The central players(CBs & CMs) responsible to SPOA.
What: Circulate the ball out of pressure to find a player with time and space. Teammates off the ball must EXPAND and create maximum space quickly.
Where: Many times possession is regained in Zone 1(defensive 3rd) or Zone 2(middle 3rd) and to maintain possession look to circulate the ball into a different channel of the field.
When: The moment possession is regained or anticipating that moment by reading the cues of a probable turnover.
Why: Establishing possession in transitional moments allows our teams to have the ball for longer periods. We want to develop creative attacking minded players and we need possession of the ball to do so.
