RSL AZ Curriculum - Week #11
Unbalancing - Draw Defense to SPOA(Switch Point of Attack)

Who: Mainly CF, CMFs & Central Defenders are the facilitators for switching the point of attack while wide players are the receivers of the ball.

What: Circulate the ball OUT of a condensed area of the field to PROGRESS the ball into an area where we have Time & Space.

Where: If dividing the field VERTICALLY into 3 channels, we want to move the ball into a different channel than the one being defended well(with opponent's numbers an organization).

When: Main moments/situations to switch the point of attack are: after successful buildup progression from Zone 1, in transitional moments, & during "set" attacks when opponent is collectively organized

Why: We want to switch the ball quickly to ISOLATE the opposition's defenders and look to create and exploit #'s up situations to get BEHIND the opponent's backline.
