Defending - Recovery - Interchange Positions to Prevent Progress
Who: All players involved but many times are partnerships between a wide player and a central player interchanging.
What: Interchanging positions temporarily so that progression of the ball is stopped.
Where: Occurs in ALL Zones.
When: The moment when an individual teammate is NOT in a position him/herself to prevent progress themself.
Why: In a situation where my teammate is not able to prevent progress but then his/her teammate must recognize they have the better angle and a temporary interchange of positions should occur.
Week #1 Attacking - Buildup - Creation & Use Of Space
Week #2 Defending - Recovery - Close DGC & Prevent Penetration
Week #3 Attacking - Unbalancing Phase - Find A Player Behind The Backline
Week #4 - Defending - Defending - Collective Defending - Protect the Space Behind when the BC is NOT Framed
Week #5 - Attacking - Adjust & Re-Adjust To Shoot: Finishing Phase
Week #6 - Defending - Protect the Goal - Anticipate & Adjust to Intervene
Week #7 - TRANSITION: Attacking -> Defending 1 - Counter Press to Regain Possession
Week #8 - TRANSITION: Defending -> Attacking 1 - Establish Possession: Connect Passes out of Pressure
Week #9 - Buildup - Create Gaps & Skip Lines
Week #10 - Recovery - High Press: Close Down Defenders & Eliminate Options
Week #11 - Unbalancing - Draw Defense to SPOA(Switch Point of Attack)
Week #12 - Collective Defending - Direct Pressure & Set the “Trap"
Week #13 - Finishing - Quality Service Into Goal Scoring Areas: "Bo Cross" & "COO"
Week #14 - Protect the Goal - Close Down Wide & Deny Service
Week #15 - Transition: Attacking -> Defending 2 - Delay Progress to Re-Organize Lines
Attacking 7 - Buildup - Create Numbers Up/Overloads
Defending 7 - Recovery - Interchange Positions to Prevent Progress
