STAFF BIO: Ernando Novais has been coaching in AZ for many, many years and is known as one of the most active and experienced competitive coaches in the valley. A former Brazilian player, he is known for his passion and energy while coaching the game of soccer. Ernando is also one of the first professional Goal Keeper trainers in AZ, and began national and international clinics/camps in the early 2000’s, while working for BRUSA. In 2001, Ernando started his local soccer career in Ahwatukee (AFSC), and then moved to AZFC Hammers as a Goal Keeper Director and competitive coach. He also served Arizona in the Olympic Development Program (Region IV West) as Head, Assistant, and Goal Keeper coach. At the Private level, Ernando has helped several players from all ages and skill levels, including Cassie Miller, who work with him for several years, and made the USA National Team (U16-2012). As a trilingual professional, Ernando holds a MBA in International Business with a B.A in Business Administration.
