TACTICAL PRINCIPLE- Vertically to Exploit Opposition


  • Recognize if opponents defenders have moved “high” out of position
  • Time/Space= look for ball in behind
  • Get numbers inside the box or forward for early cross
  • Wide player curved run to open up, creates space
  • Drive forward into space
  • Support the play with runs from behind
  • Find target and layoff/spin out
